Like any place, Chalice has rules. We try not to make them excessive - thanks for reading! Whether you've read them or not, you will be held accountable, so it's nice of you to make sure you know them first. =3
*No one-liners. Nobody likes answering those.
*No power-plays/god-moding. If it's not your character, get your furry paws off, unless you have an agreement with whoever's character it is.
*Third person, past tense. Please. Don't give your readers whiplash.
*Nothing explicit about sex. Take it to a PM if you feel the need.
*Don't get caught. Obviously a lot of things happen around here that, well... shouldn't. The staff wants this school up and running and they want the international boards and investigators out of their hair. They'll cover for you, but it's best if you just don't get caught.
*Students should be between seven and nineteen years of age. Obviously the school takes some exceptions, but we'd like the students to stay between this general age range.
*Professors should be above the age of twenty-five. It's a bottom line that makes life a little simpler.
*Drugs, alcohol, and firearms/explosives are strictly forbidden. If you get caught, that is. There's an extensive black market that sells all sorts of forbidden things, if you can get a hand in it and keep a low profile.
*No students from other houses in a particular house's dorm areas - no Zeus kids in the Athena dorms, etc. Or at least, don't get caught in there.
*Though the houses are mixed-gender, no boys in girls' actual dorms and vice versa. As with most of the school rules, as long as you don't get caught...
*Each character needs a new user. To keep things simpler for everybody, one character per account. You can have as many characters as you want, provided you can keep up with them, but separate accounts for each, please.
*No roleplaying until your character is accepted. Please. Just wait. We'll go as quick as we can, we promise.
*Straight characters. This isn't a slight against anyone who's homosexual or bi. This is because some people are uncomfortable about it and we'd rather not deal with the interpersonal issues.
*Signatures should be no larger than 300(h)x600(w). If you stretch the boards, we'll ask you to remove your image.
*Do I have to say be respectful? No, I probably don't. But I will. Just in case.
*We have character bio/application templates. Please use them. If your application is not done on the template provided, it will be automatically rejected.
